John Camilleri

John Camilleri
President

I understand the role of a President.

I’m a retired labour leader who fights for the rights of workers.

With over 30 years as a CUPE member and 25+ years representing CUPE members, I bring a wealth of experience to the discussion. I have served as President of Local 1 and served on the executive for over 20 years. I am passionate about supporting members and advocating for members’ health, safety and their well being. I fully understand what it is to listen to members issues and to be able to relate to their needs. I fully recognize that union members need to have their voices heard.
